Install SwiftPods with Homebrew. It selects the package for your Mac and installs the required Ruby separately.

Homebrew

brew install swiftpods

Update SwiftPods with:

brew upgrade swiftpods

Release archives

Use a release archive or the pinned installer for a manual installation or CI. Each release includes release.json, SHA-256 checksums and architecture-specific packages.

Runtime requirements

Host	macOS, matching the archive's architecture and minimum OS.
Ruby	A compatible external CRuby, installed automatically by Homebrew.
Build tools	Xcode and SDKs for your project's destinations.

Verify a download

Check the archive against the release's SHA-256 checksums. Use the installer checksum and release manifest digest to pin an installation in CI.
